    The Fibre Company Tundra

Tundra is an incredibly soft, bulky weight alpaca blend in dazzling colors. The alpaca keeps Tundra warm, merino wool adds resiliency, and a touch of silk gives sheen and a hint of drape to the finished fabric. This gorgeous addition to the Fibre Company's line of yarns has two plies and a slight halo effect. Tundra is perfect for one-skein accessories as well as sweaters and cold weather items. Made in Peru.

          Comments about Fibre Company Tundra:

Made a scarf as a gift for a friend . She fell in love with the yarn while we were shopping. Turned out beautifully. Used the Tallin pattern from Kelbourne Wollens. Only problem is that I had to get an extra skein to finish it. Have enough left to make a headband .

Used it to knit 2 pillow covers for my sister and her husband, as Christmas gifts, which she asked for.
The yarn is gorgeous, and a pleasure to work with.
