I used larger needles than recommended and did nothing but purl a cowl -- Cast on about 120 and just knitted until it was about 16" deep. The result looked like lace. It was a gift and my friend immediately tried draping it over her shoulders, and then twisting it once around her neck and then pulling it over her head -- another flattering look.

I tried on a sweater knitted in Takhi's Rosa at at knitshop in No. Calif. I loved the texture, softness, and fit of this sweater. The owner of the shop downloaded the Takhi shell sweater pattern for me, and i purchased the yarn from your site. The yarn was difficult to knit with my Addi turbo circular needles, as the stitches kept sliding off the needles. I found when I used a larger bamboo needle to cast off, how easy it was to control the yarn, as the bamboo needle provided enough friction to keep the yarn on the needle. I do love the natural pattern in the sweater created by the yarn's texture - it adds a lot of interest to a very simple sweater.

There were many knots in a skein, some "hidden" under the roving area. I had to reknit two rows when one of these came apart. Sewing seams was very difficult--the roving shreds and tears. The finished product was lovely. I would recommend that you rewind each skein before using so that you can eliminate the knots.
