Highly recommended, its a kind of special and luxury yarn with silk and Llama. And hides well any knot or imperfection.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Taria Tweed:

I really was surprised by this yarn - colors are fabulous! The color combinations are surprising & interesting - knitting up beautifully. Because its bulky it knits up quickly. I am knitting cowls with it & needed only 1 skein. It will be perfect for our cold winters.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Taria Tweed:

I used 1 skein to make the Neck Nuzzler scarf, basically a moss stitch infinity scarf, for a friend. I was disappointed with the weight which I think is thin for a yarn described as bulky. I had to use it because she had picked the purple and she loved the fuschia tweed flecks in it. I didn't have enough yarn to double it. I used a size 13 needle and perhaps I should have gone down a size. The bumpy texture of this pattern did not come out as well as I would have liked. The color of the tweeds is lovely. I also got the aqua to make something for myself. In the future, I will swatch first to make sure I like the way the fabric is coming out and adjust needle size.

The yarn is very soft & pliable, but more heavily textured than other tweeds. This is not good or bad, just something to be aware of. Very easy and pleasant to use, generous yardage.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Taria Tweed:

I bought this to make a sweater jacket that knitted up beautifully. It is so soft and well shaped that I couldn't be more pleased. Blocking was a cinch.

I don't understand why they've discontinued some of their more popular grays and brown colors. I had no problem with knots or splitting or quality like I had read in prior reviews and I would urge them to reconsider discontinuing this product. I feel I was profoundly fortunate to have gotten my light brown skeins when I did.

A couple of friends asked where I got the yarn and were very happy that they could still get some!

A great yarn for comfort close to the skin, for sweaters, socks and soft projects in general.

I love this yarn for quick projects that turn out beautiful. In fact, I loved it so much for "Jean's Irish Hat" (pattern on Ravelry) I bought every color and plan on making a army of these hats.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Taria Tweed:

I'm using this for a moss stitch fall & winter cowl for a Christmas gift. I wanted something with a beautiful drape, that's soft but shows texture well. It definitely suits my needs for this project and would also be lovely for a sweater. It seems to stretch a bit once knit, but that's not a problem if you're aware and plan for it.

I'm using this for a cabled cardigan. I am enjoying working with it - probably not a ton of stitch definition but nice weight. I should have known with the color being fawn it was not as grey as it looked in the picture, but.... I decided to keep it and I like the texture so much.
