Absolutely no complaints about this beautiful yarn. Soooo soft to the touch and knit up beautifully on size 10 and size 11 circular Addi Turbos. Used it for a cowl and the 10 needle produced a more dense fabric, while the 11 had more drape, but still plenty of coverage. Could easily see knitting this on size 13s as well for a cowl or scarf. Believe the size 11s are best bet for a sweater or clothing article, even though the label calls for size 10. This is another great aspect of the yarn -- definitely quality and not skimpy in the gauge department like so many other yarns can be. The colors are to die for. I selected the dark olive green and it is rich and very evenly dyed. I will definitely buy this yarn again and again. Can use it for babies and next to the skin items and would recommend "gentle" washing so as not to interfere with its incredibly soft hand for a 100% wool.

I am finding this yarn very perplexing. It is super soft for basic wool which I was very excited about. yet now that I am knitting with it I am not as fond. I am a very experienced knitter and yet I cannot get even stitches with this. Maybe it is because I am using wooden needles and should be using metal? Wondering if better slip would prevent the stiches from looking so wonky. I think I am going to have to rip out the sweater that I started a week ago. I bought it in ecru so the stitches show up very clearly. So mad that they look twisty and weird! I think that some of it is because this is not a single ply. who knows. not sure when and if I will buy more of this.... they have lovely colors and I would like to see if I can get around this stitch evenness problem by using addi turbos or something.

Knit a sweater and it is soft enough for my sensitive skin that I can wear it without a shirt underneath. The fabric does look very worn out already after only two low activity wearings. It will have to be a bum around the house sweater. The yarn does stretch in length so be sure to swatch.

Planning to knit something for that Muggle in your life who probably isn't very careful when it comes to laundry-time? This yarn is the ticket. It's soft! It's squishy! It knits like a dream and best of all: you can throw it in the washing machine AND the dryer and not ruin it. I've knit three sweaters with this yarn for my non-knitting relatives and they haven't destroyed them yet. For the knitter, the yarn is lovely to work with - an abundance of gorgeous colors, soft and lovely to handle.

I think Superwash is great for simple patterns but you have to be very watchful when executing complicated stitching because of the danger of spliting the yarn, resulting in that little bit of fuzz hanging around. It is certainly great for laundering. Good for school raffle projects.

Bought based on Windrunner's review, was looking for a 'cheaper' alternative to my fave MTosh Chunky and this is it. I also used the Addi 11 circular and the yarn glides across the needle, I don't think i've ever knitted this quickly. It feels very soft and the pattern stitches really pop. I'm making a seed stitch cowl and discovered several slipped stitches near the beginning of the project when i was nearly at the end of the skein, i frogged the whole thing, restarted and finished the skein a day later.
I got the Summer Sky Heather, the actual color is not even close to what is shown (much deeper hue ), but knew from previous purchase of other yarns, that color may not match..I prefer the actual color to what's shown..

Lovely soft wool in a beautiful color range. I blocked my vest and while it was wet, it strreeeettched. So I tried to pat it back in shape and it worked really well but it is a little longer - which works ok with a vest. Haven't tried washing it in the machine yet... I would use the yarn again but not for a definite fitting item.

Lovely yarn once I got it wound. The hanks were very difficult to wind and I found myself spending a lot of time untangling knits. Once I got it untangled it was beautiful to work with.

I love the softness of this yarn. It is quite springy and am looking forward to the ease of care this product promises. I am knitting a lace front vest which is unusual for bulky yarn but it is turning out well. If you look closely you can just see other colors wonen in to the yarn which gives the overall colour more depth. Will definitely order it again. Stitch definition is good.
