I selected this yarn for a scarf for my son, to go with his brown leather jacket. Red and brown, a nice break from all the black he usually wears. But this yarn is PINK and PURPLE. It doesn't look anything like the online images.
I'm really disappointed.
In the picture it shows this yarn to be very red and brown. The yarn I got is purple, pink,grey, and brown, with very little red.
The title of the yarn describes the yarn. The picture does not.
I ordered this yarn to crochet a granny square blanket for my grand daughter's American Girl Doll 70's style bed. The colors seemed to match perfectly (on the internet), and just what I was looking for.
When I started to crochet, I found the crochet hook constantly split the strands of the yarn, making it take a lot longer to complete the small project.
I usually knit - and I don't think the splitting would be as big a problem knitting. But I totally would not recommend it for crocheting.
