Saw Freia Handpaints yarn in the Autumn 2011 issue of Vogue Knitting and was happy to discover it is carried by Webs. I was intrigued by the pretty little bon-bons of wool in the magazine photo. The entrelac hat I am knitting is working up beautifully with this soft and lofty yarn. The wool is beautifully spun and free of slubs and knots. I love the surprise of the unwinding colors. Just when I was tiring of the mauve tones, gorgeous earthy blues and then golds were revealed...eight harmonizing color tones in all. I like that the Freia color options vary from earthy and subtle to bright and bold. I'm finding it a feast for all the senses.
