I used this to make a cardigan for my sister and right now using it to make another baby cardigan. I've gifted the cardigan to my sister last year and I saw it on her again when she came to visit and had to ask if she has machine washed it and she has. It still looks great, that's why I asked! She has it lined or laid flat to dry but the yarn and colorfast is wonderful. The yarn didn't seem to bleed either, Ruby red and an off white were knit together! Only con, which really isn't a con but when I knitted this yarn up, the yarn twisted differently on each side of the leg and you can tell when looking at the fabric. It's not terrible but as a knitter you can see there is a difference.

Overall I think this yarn is great value and so lovely to knit with. Definitely will purchased again for future projects.

I bought this yarn in Clematis for a baby blanket. It has been disappointing to knit with. It is a pretty color, soft and squishy, but the yarn splits and really isn't very easy to work with. Each skein had a knot in it. When the blanket is done it will be really pretty, but it isn't my favorite merino yarn. Sorry.

Comments about Jenny Watson Pure Merino DK:

This was my first time using a DK weight yarn. I found this yarn to be very soft yet it shows good stitch definition. My project was a cardigan with a pattern of cabling and 2k/2p ribbing, and I was very happy with the way it turned out. But I learned a valuable lesson about wet blocking the gauge swatch. I didn't block my swatch, and I wish now that I had. After wetting, my knitting relaxed a huge amount -- 4" in length and 3" across. Maybe all DK yarn does this? I guess I'll be gifting this sweater to a larger size friend. Live and learn. Can't fault the yarn...just the knitter.

Comments about Jenny Watson Pure Merino DK:

I used this brand of yarn for the first time and was very satisfied with the way it knitted up. I am just finishing up a baby's jumper and beret for a 12 month old. The color is clematis, which is a pinkish/purple and as I have knitted as I wait in Dr.'s offices I have received many compliments about the color. The yarn is so soft and drapes well for this projects. I would buy this yarn again. I strongly recommend it for children's clothes. Glad I tried this brand. Happy Knitting!

I love the colors of Jenny Watson's yarn. My Hen Plaid scarf knitted up quickly and evenly without knots or splits, and now I'm going to work on a winter sweater for myself. This is another of my go-to yarns.

                  Service and delivery comments:

Service from WEBS is always flawless. No wonder they sell out of yarn so quickly! What a great website.

Using two contrasting colors (Ebony and Gray) for a "Don't Blink" illusion scarf. Nice twist makes it stand out nicely.

I knitted in the car with it, and had no problems with splitting or knots.
