Great Bang for your Buck.

I don't normally use sport weight yarns, so I wasn't sure what to expect from this one. But if you like Cascade 220, and just need a lighter weight for a specific project, you'll like this. Like its worsted namesake, it's a good value, a very servicable yarn for items that don't require frequent wahing (unless you just like hand-washing -- I don't). I'd prefer a superwash variant of it for most things I suspect.
I haven't used it in any felted projects to date, but have used other Cascade wool for such things and always been pleased with the results. This yarn would yield a felted fabric not quite so heavy, which might make it even more suitable for some items.
The project I bought this for used 2 strands held together, and the "sturdiness" (for lack of a better word) that gives it its stitch definition made the job of workign with 2 strands much easier than some yarns I've used this way. It also has less of a tendency to come untwisted than other similar yarns I've used. It also seems to be less prone to splitting or shedding than even the worsted Cascade 220.
This is not a "luxury" yarn by any measure, but will give you good results even if you're a relative novice. Overall a very serviceable yarn for knitters of all skill levels.

Cascade wools are pretty soft for a non-merino, and they're a really pretty good value for the yardage and quality. They also are dyed some nice solids and heather colors. Listing images here are true to color.

I wish this yarn came in more colors -- since it would be great for fair isle. However, most of the colors are the same tonality, and many are dark, which are nice, but would be nice to have a greater variety. I love this sport weight and will buy more for sure.

I just finished Charleston Tea in Pumpkin spice. The color is darker than it appeared on my monitor, but I really like it. The sweater is the most comfortable I've ever made. Even over a short sleeved shirt, the yarn isn't itchy.
