Knots! Good for warmer climates

This yarn has a nice drape and a rich, deep color. However, I was very unhappy with the amount of knots I found in 3 or 4 of the 8 hanks I purchased. And there weren't just one or two knots, there were many breakages in the skeins. Some were big knots like one when the yarn is completely severed, but some were also the kind of knot tied when only a few strands of the fiber were broken. In either case, it meant cutting the yarn and overlapping a restart. I guess if I weigh these issues with the yarn's machine washability and really nice price, it may all even out.
This yarn is meant for my almost always warm daughter who lives in Hawaii. The dk weight should be just right for inside a restaurant or a windy Hawaii winter evening.

I'm making a cardigan, so I need to get the size right. I made a swatch to get the gauge right, started knitting, and found that my sweater would be way way too big. So I have just rewound the yarn and will start again using needles 2 sizes smaller. If this yarn wasn't such a beautiful color and feel so nice, I might not bother.
