I like the texture of this yarn for a baby blanket. Would have given it more stars but I did not receive the color that I ordered.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Dreambaby DK:
Wish that Plymouth had not discontinued some of the variegated colors. I have made many hundreds of hats for our local hospitals newborn babies as part of our senior citizens volunteer programs. It gets boring making only pink, blue and yellow hats.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Dreambaby DK:
Moms always tell me how much they love the yarn because of the colors, softness and the way it washes so well. Yarn usually arrives very promptly. It would be helpful to receive updates on backordered colors with a guesstimate of when it might be in.

I made a baby sweater, a cardigan. I found it fun to work with and bought more in different colors. Plan to make a few more things in different sizes.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Dreambaby DK:
Purchased for making baby items. Nice, soft, DK yarn. No problem with ripping out, then re-working. Washes nicely, too! FYI: I clicked "socks" because I was referring to baby socks. I don't think it would be good for child or adult socks - wouldn't hold up well for that purpose.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Dreambaby DK:
Problem: some colors have a different weight and texture from the others. For example, the bright red is noticeably thinner and more 'splitty' than the standard, gives a looser hand when used in the same project with other colors.
Great: colors are beautiful, though brights don't go with pastels. Soft, stays soft and gets fuzzier with washing. Comes through the washer and dryer beautifully.

I've made several baby sweater sets for the newborns in our family. The yarn is so soft and there's a great selection of colors.
