Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
I have been having difficulty finding 4.0 gauge wool and most of my sweater patterns call for that gauge. Was so happy to find Madeline Tosh Chunky was 4.0 gauge. I can't wait to finish remodeling my house so I can knit again.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
This is a stunning yarn, usually, that does things with color I have never seen anywhere else. Subtle, shaded, inventive combinations, flecked and almost sprayed at times, subtly blended at others, with a glazed sheen that makes the colors glow with an almost inner luminescence. I love this yarn. I crave it. Hence my bitter disappointment when I order a color I have cherished and luxuriated in in the past only to find the new version muddy, dull or monochrome. This is a tough yarn to order online, but hard to find any other way in any amount. Its worth the risk of the occasional dud to have the sensual pleasure of the best. Try your fair isle and intarsia in this yarn and watch it turn to sheer magic. It is too busy to show off cablework

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
Love this yarn. I used it to make a cowl and everyone who saw it wanted one. The yarn is durable yet soft enough around the neck. The colors are wonderful. Stitch definition is good. I am working on designing a knitted blanket that would specifically showcase the beauty of this yarn---that's how much I love it and like working with it.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
I just adore Madelinetosh yarns. I have ordered many different weight for different projects, it is always lovely. Even so the color might be slightly different from what you see on the monitor, it is always beautiful. I have yet to get a hank that I don't like. Wish there is more yardage in a hank, but it won't stop me from ordereing more.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
I made a giant reversible cabled cowl from Stephan West. This yarn has the most lovely stitch definition. Literally, every single stitch is visible. So, even with the verigated colors, the cables are beautiful. There is a slight shine to the yarn that makes it seem almost metallic (I bought the rainwater Colorway). This yarn isn't exactly a chunky weight... It's barely a heavy worsted, but it doesn't matter. I don't want to knit with anything else!
Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
Beautiful colorways, really nice twist, a delight to work with, and to wear!
Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
I used this yarn to crochet a beanie and many granny squares. The colors are the most prettiest I have ever seen, and the quality of the yarns are superb.
The only tiny teeny drawback: when I received the yarns, they have some vinegar-ish smell, but it gradually went away to the extent that you won't notice anymore.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky:
I am a huge fan of all Madeline tosh yarns and this is no exception. Wonderful to knit with... Very springy yarn. I am anxious to see if it softens up with blocking... Am sure it will. I recommend it
