I used this to knit a decorative scarf for my mother-in-law; I chose the black/purple colorway. I cast on 7 stitches and simply knit back and forth until I ran out of yarn. The construction is more flat than tubular like some ruffle yarns, but it's really cute and fun-looking. It's not particularly soft, but I'd assume it wouldn't necessarily be worn against the skin. It would look great with a coat for a splash of color. I loved that the ladder construction at the top of the yarn was so even; there was no guessing which "hole" would be knit next. It took me roughly 2 hours to knit this up. I will definitely buy more; such a great "instant-gratification" project!
