Chenille reflects light differently than wools or other spun blends. This yarn brings out details like cables in an interesting way. The yarn also have a very soft hand and looks more luxurious so it's great for dressy accessories like hats and scaves, or even pretty little sweaters. I love feeling the yarn as it goes through my fingers, and the color is fun to watch as it develops into a knitted item.

Discovered this yarn in the warehouse in black and made a beautiful black swan with it. I purchased more to make my grandaughter a horse , then i found the red to make Santa. I love it for making stuffed tuys

I have been knitting and felting wonderfully soft scarves with Sinsation. They are very elegant. You have to unravel the yarn before knitting, though, otherwise it really twists up! I am not happy when I find a knot in a skein with such short yardage, plus it is hard to attach a new skein as it is, without it showing in the finished product.
I have now also added a finishing crabstich, plus a flower, to my crocheted wool and mohair flapper hats and that makes a truly beautiful set together with the scarf!

if you are looking for a beautiful yarn with a striking texture, then this chenille is for you. my girlfriend saw the scarf i made and begged me to make her one so i ordered more yarn. the color is great. its also warm used as a scarf.
