I used this yarn in a blanket mixed with about a zillion other sock yarns so the dull colors didn't matter that much. The colors look much brighter and prettier on line than they do in person.

The colorways are gorgeous and the yarn seems spun tightly - the fabric of the sock is soft but dense. I can't get enough.

I've made many pairs of socks made with Santa Fe, and they all felt up, even if cold washed and line dried. However, the yarn is gorgeous and soft, so make your socks bigger to compensate. 15% nlon isn't enough to prevent felting; should be at least 20% o more. Can't see dry cleaning socks!

I'm knitting this yarn on 2.75mm needles and getting 7spi. It's a pleasure to knit with. Stitch definition is great. It produces a soft yet solid fabric. Had to get a third skein though to make a pair of socks to fit size 9 feet.
