I made several pair of socks for Christmas gifts. Then I got a request for leg warmers for a daughter-in-law that runs. They are perfect and so soft. Very nice to work with as well. The yarn doesn't unravel and makes nice even stitches. It was my first time of knitting socks and it was a success.

Use most often for fingerless mitts that get a lot of use and need to be washable. Works up well, wears well and washes well. Give as gifts often.

...for socks...but I ripped out the sock-in-progress and made the yarn into a glorious vest. Other users of this yarn tell me it softens with washing, but I felt it was a bit too ropy for socks. Your mileage may vary, and the colors are gorgeous. Also I recommended this yarn to some new knitters because it works up quickly. A very fine yarn, just not my preference for socks. I'd buy it again in a minute, however, for other uses!

I wanted to knit some quick socks, so I bought this DK yarn. I LOVE it. It was easy to knit, and every time I wash them, they seem to get even softer! One skein made one pair of 5" high socks. I just wish it came in colors for men, too - it would make great gifts
