I make headbands for the young girls who have to stay at the hospital for extended periods and cannot have their hair washed due to treatments or maybe they are having chemo. The girls didn't want a hat or something big but making so many headbands all different sizes became unrealistic for us volunteers and for the nurses to try out on each girl needing one. This yarn is perfect. One small size works for them all.

I do crocheting for several different charity groups. The hospital likes headbands for the young girls and teen girls to help deal with "bad hair day" during a hospital stay. Regular yarn requires several closure options to accommodate different sizes. With the fixation yarn I was able to crochet the headband closed and it stretched to fit all sizes! Hooray! No more buttons, ties or elastic. Now I can get more done in a shorter period of time. The icing on this cake is that the colors are wonderful and the yarn has a nice hand. I'll be purchasing much more!

This is a great stretchy yarn and gives a good firm fit for hats, with lots of stretch to put it on. Their description says "just a bit of stretch" but I think it has more stretch than that suggests.

I had to knit slower to be sure that I wasn't stretching the yarn as I went.

I bought this yarn to make some Circle of Life baby socks. They're not supposed to fall off - and part of the reason is that this yarn stretches. I liked the feel of this yarn and the final product was adorable. Gave them away in a contest from my Facebook page and they were a big hit.

Next project with this yarn is more of the socks and a hat to match ... I think it will be really cute and not too warm.

I used this to make stretchy headbands for my daughters. There are a lot of really nice colors, I love the elasticity and the feel of the yarn. You do have to be careful when knitting not to pull too right or the finished product won't have much stretch.

The colors are much brighter and more vibrant than the photos show. It is easy to use, unlike some elastics I've knitted with. The striping is quirky and cute-I love the hat I made with the blue and lime.
