Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
I'd just finished a scarf in the Botticelli Red and wanted more of the sock yarn to make the Laar cardigan I'd seen at our local yarn shop. I am working on one already in Malabrigo sock, using a colorway my LYS had that matches the dress I'll be wearing to a couple of weddings this summer. But I wanted a second cardigan in a brighter color soooo...I treated myself to a few more skeins : )

Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
Malabrigo Sock yarn is spectacularly beautiful and oh-so versatile. I've used it for cardigans, toys, shawls, scarves, hats, gloves, mitts, and of course, socks! I've used a "reinforcement thread" occasionally in the heels/toes of socks knitted for folks less inclined to take appropriate care of fine hand-knitted items.

Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
This yarn knits up beautifully, I've made shawls, lace scarves, cowls, hats and mitts with it. It's great for colorwork. The color range is wonderful, both the tonal types and the more variegated. I've been happy with every skein, and every stitch. I highly recommend this Malabrigo sock

Archangel was so much darker than photo. Oh well! If you like dark purple-red, you'd be happy.

Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
Great yarn, except that the skein was a bit tangled, and it was a chore to get it wound into a ball.

Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
I bought two skeins and while one was a lovely saturated teal the other was washed out. I didn't realize this until I had warped the loom and woven half of a scarf. Had I known this I would've sent the yarn back, but as it was I had to continue with the weft. I was heartbroken and not make this error again. I'll warp with both skeins and weave with both if necessary.Otherwise the yarn is lovely.

Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
I recommend this yarn highly. It is my go-to yarn for shawls. I think I have most of the colors! The kettle dyeing makes it even more special.

Comments about Malabrigo Sock:
I learned by ordering a few differnt colors that the yarn is wound by two different people or mills. One is small, tightly twisted and shines. The other is soft, matte and loose. Both are the same weight and knit the same fabric. I prefer the tight.
