Beautiful ... soft ... great color ...

I used this two strands at a time to knit a beautiful, brightly colored autumn sweater. And I am going to knit a purse to match.

I ordered this yarn to crochet a granny square blanket for my grand daughter's American Girl Doll 70's style bed. The colors seemed to match perfectly (on the internet), and just what I was looking for.

When I started to crochet, I found the crochet hook constantly split the strands of the yarn, making it take a lot longer to complete the small project.

I usually knit - and I don't think the splitting would be as big a problem knitting. But I totally would not recommend it for crocheting.

Cons

  • Can't Dry In Drier

Best Uses

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool Light Prints:

This isn't listed as sock yarn, but I use it to make socks anyway. It also says to use a size 4 needle to get 24 stitches... Way off! However this does not take away from the quality and beauty of the yarn. It really is my favorite!!

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool Light Prints:

I used this yarn in the DIY Fair Isle Hat and it was a pleasure to knit with. The hat turned out beautifully. This yarn was perfect for colorwork.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool Light Prints:

I used this for a toddler's sweater--striping made a wonderful effect combined with the pattern. It would work nicely for scarves and shawls also.

My only complaint is that the yarn separates more than I'd like--you have to be careful about not getting a strand caught up in the stitches but otherwise no complaints.
