I chose this originally because of the colour, I used the Tomato orange, the colours were exactly like I was hoping for and quite similar to the images on the net. After working with this yarn I was in love! I used this to make a good friend of mine a diaper bag for her new arrival. She loves bright colours and I wanted to find a yarn that knits nice, stays soft, and easy to wash considering its for baby. I feel this product fills all these requirements.
I was happy I had a ball or two for leftovers so I could make a little baby cardigan to give her after the baby was born. She says both items are easy to care for and the stitch definition is holding up well.
After using over 8 balls of this yarn, I only found a join in one ball.

Comments about Ornaghi Filati Punto Su Punto Chicco:
I'm knitting a dress with this yarn, using two strands at once, and it is a joy to work with. Soft, springy, not at all splitty, and I'm looking forward to washing the garment in the machine once it's done. I definitely will enjoy wearing this yarn against my skin. I have found one or two joins within a skein, which is disappointing, but otherwise, I love this yarn.

- Baby soft

I took a chance on this, as there were no reviews but I love the color choices. I got it in blue to make a cardigan for my grandson. It really is soft, much better than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to use this next to baby skin. Not itchy/scratchy at all. It shows off stitches nicely. An unexpected surprise is that it is a beautifully wound ball and so far no knots. I'm not done knitting the cardigan yet, so not sure how it will hold up with washing, but the quality seems excellent. Just one minor thing, and this could just be me - it says DK and I'm still getting 6 stitches/inch on US #6 needles. I am a tight knitter tho, but I didn't like the swatch when knitted on #7.
