I really like that this yarn because it has a dressy look and the black is really dark. Nice for professional attire or special events. However, if the user is not advanced enough to knit evenly without splitting the strand, I would suggest using it in an open lace knit where issues can go unseen. I washed my first top in cold water in the washing maching on delicate and it came out great. Dry flat. The color is still vibrant.
