I made the cape from the cover of Rowan magazine 42 and the snail hat from Vogue knitting. The yarn is easy, fast and soft to work with and the finished product is beautiful.

I ordered this yarn to make a sweater from one of the Rowan books. It is a lovely shade of green. It knits up very quickly and very well. Unfortunately, every skein had as least one and sometimes 2 knots. The last skein had 3 and as I was fast running out of yarn,it was a waste to have to take these into consideration. Don't know if this was a bad batch or what. As much as I liked knitting with it and the look of the cables, I would think long and hard before I used it again.

I had read the previous customer review and really agonized over buying this yarn. The Erika Knight pattern I chose featured this yarn. (I don't know if maybe the previous reviewer got a bad batch of yarn - is that possible?) I chose Big Wool in Concrete and I'm almost finished with the sweater I'm knittng. It's absolutely a dream to work with. There is no piling, no fuzziness, it's soft and fluffy, a wonderful "hand" and loft. It works up fast on big needles (#17). I got the WEBS discount and am completely happy and satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend it to any other knitter.

This yarn is just not that great... It's not very soft (especially compared to Como or Twinkle's Soft Chunky), and there is a lot of pilling and fuzz. It needs a sweater shaver by the time you're done knitting it!
