    Elsebeth Lavold LinSilk

Elsebeth Lavold's LinSilk is unexpectedly soft and squishy! This worsted weight blend of linen, viscose, and silk has a lovely sheen and works up with great stitch definition. LinSilk has a rustic, textural feel with subtle slubs and very slight halo. Each natural fiber absorbs the dye differently, so each color has a variation that adds depth to your project. Made in Argentina.

          Comments about Elsebeth Lavold LinSilk:

this is my first time buying linen/silk yarn, so perhaps this is normal. but this year looked very "rough" to me. there are a lot of linen fibers sticking out. when i knitted my sweater with the yard it doesnt look so bad though. feels a little rougher than it should be for something with silk and viscose, and not so strong (you can break the yard easily if you pull it). but the color is so gorgeous i decided to keep it and try knitting from it. the knitted piece LOOKS gorgeous, how it holds up is yet to be seen

              Comments about Elsebeth Lavold LinSilk:

I made a shawl neck sweater with the purple and used the tangerine color as an accent on a pocket and collar. Turned out beautifully. Would use it again for other projects. Did wish the tangerine was more red than orange but it is still pretty. The yarn is so soft, and works up very easily.
