I purchased this yarn to knit a summer blanket for my full sized bed. What initially attracted me to the yarn were the colors and the price; I had fallen in love with some Rowan yarn colorways that were prohibitively expensive for a large project like a blanket. The subtlety of the palette and the slight heathering of the colors gives this yarn a more natural look than many acrylic blends, and at more than 200 yds per ball, it is certainly economical.

It handles much like plied merino yarn (e.g. Berocco Pure Merino); that is, it is a dream to work with. Soft and springy, it does not tire my hands like some cottons do. It also does not have the squeaky plasticky feel that some synthetics do. Also, it is not at all shiny like some synthetics. Can you tell I don't care for synthetics? That said, I love this yarn.

It has a nice drape - the cotton gives it decent body while the acrylic softens. It knits up fast and I have had no trouble with splitting. I have not yet washed this yarn, so I cannot speak to the results of machine-washing.

I think this yarn would be great for babies' and children's' sweaters and blankets.

I selected this yarn for a sweater I am knitting for my grandmother. The description "It's nice and light which is great to work with and wear in the warmer months. It's machine washable and easy to care for!" sounded perfect to me.

It is very easy to knit with, but it does not feel nice at all - very coarse. There is no comfy softness to this yarn and I can't think of it being appropriate for anything other than dish towels.

    I'm left disappointed.

Very easy to knit with, great for summer sweaters. Machine washed and dried with no problems. I would have given it 4 stars but I found the number of knots excessive.

Comments about Knit One Crochet Too DungarEASE:

I made a beautiful tunic with this yarn. It was easy on the fingers while using it.

I only wish it had a more extensive colorline and maybe some self striping, otherwise it's wonderful and I love what I used it for.

I don't know why the photo when in sideways!

        Service and delivery comments:

I don't know why it took so long to ship. If it's in stock it should go out same day or next at the latest.

Made a sweater using three colors of the yarn. Expected blue to be more washed looking, but the red was quite rinsed. Still looks gret and crochets up beautifully. Love working with this yarn.
