nice yarn. a little bit fuzzy and slightly splitty, but the halo can mask a multitude of sins. lots of knots in my skeins. i like it, but not sure about future purchases.

I purchased this yarn just after Christmas to knit an entrelac scarf. I had been searching for months to find a great yarn since the previous yarn I used had been discontinued. The Classic Shades weight and colors were exactly what I was looking for to make a beautiful entrelac project. As soon as I started knitting with it, I knew that it would be soft as well, which was extremely important since I was making something that would be right against my skin. The yarn pulled easily from the center of the skein, and I never had a tangle issue with the three skeins I used. The only negative was that the yarns were tied early into the second skein. It wouldn't have been an issue at all had the knot stayed in place, but it didn't, and I had to unravel a couple blocks on the scarf to make tails long enough to weave into the project when completed. Other than that issue, this yarn was a dream to work with, was very affordable for the quality, and I'm ecstatic that it is machine-washable, making for easy care of my scarf and any other projects I end up making with it. I would recommend this product to everyone. I would definitely purchase this product again since there are so many different colorways to choose from!

This yarn is beautiful when project is finished, but is very difficult to work with. The strands separate too easily, therefore individual stitches are hard to differentiate.

The colorways are amazing in this yarn, and you get great yardage too! The only downside is that it's not worsted weight at all but more like dk weight. Otherwise, gorgeous!

I crocheted the Blue Waves Vest by Dora Ohrenstein and the gauge was very small until I steam blocked the piece, it opened right up and now has beautiful drape. I also made a purse out of the reef colorway and it is stunning.

The colors are amazing in these yarns, lots of yardage for the price too. It isn't worsted weight though, it's more like dk or fingering. It's also very very soft!
