Very soft, beautiful color. I tried it at the recommended needle size of 6 but found the fabric it knitted up to be a bit thin - had to go down to size 4. The texture is interesting, sort of crinkly. It does seem to be a bit uneven in thickness, sometimes almost sock weight thin and never quite what I'd call worsted. Nevertheless, I really like it and only gave it 4 stars because of the weight issue.

This yarn is beautiful in the predominantly purple color I purchased, but it feels even better. It has short color changes, so it does not knit up overly blotchy, just with a lot of interest. To me it seems a bit thinner than worsted, and has some variation in thickness, but there are no surprise knots, and it seems quite strong. This yarn will really punch up a sweater design, but make it for yourself, because you won't want to part with it.

I designed and knit a v-neck cardigan sweater with this yarn (Antique colorway) and it is my absolute favorite sweater EVER. I used a simple rib for the cuffs, button band, and bottom edge. All the rest is stockinette, because this yarn doesn't need any cables or other fancy stitches. I get compliments on it wherever I go. I like the yarn so much, I bought enough for another sweater!
