I use this yarn for easy scarves and my standby, the La-La Simple Shawl. I live in the Southern US, but cotton yarn usually hurts my hands. This doesn't. I also like Cascade Tangier, but it sheds like a llama. This doesn't. Others complain about splitting and breaking, but I've never had that problem. Part of the reason is probably that I always use at least a #9 needle with it for an open look AND I don't go for remotely complex patterns on shawls or scarves. The twisting is not as much of a problem if I wind with a swift and ball winder and pull from the center. Even so, there are MANY yarns a lot twistier, so I don't mind this.

My first order (and last) from WEBS. A disappointment and this company came highly recommended. Colors of the yarn misrepresented on the site, no mention of this not being a good yarn for weaving (although I was told this after the fact). No apologies when I wrote to let them know about it, just excuses. Yes...disappointed.

I was given this yarn from a friend, and it was completely tangled. In the process of untangling, I noticed that there were more than two ends in the mix. Turns out you can give the yarn a slight tug and it will break.

Lovely earth tones in this silky, soft yarn - a little easier to knit than pure cotton yarn because it slides nicely across the needle but not too slippery.

                  Comments about Plymouth Yarn Kudo:

Possibly the nicest yarn I've ever used. It was wonderfully soft and the colours are fabulous. I knitted a shawl with it and it's like being hugged by a rainbow. My only negative comment would be I can't find any more as several people have seen at and asked me to make them one.
