This slouchy beret features a large lace flower pattern and is knit on the band in a firm, textured stitch pattern with a decorative button. The pattern is worked from the top down, and the band is knit onto the live hat, stitches at the end.
Yarn: 170[195, 210, 235] metres / 185[215, 230, 255] yards of heavy worsted / aran weight yarn. Shown in Malabrigo Twist green grey
Needles: 4.5mm (or size needed to obtain correct gauge) set of 4 double pointed needles, 4.5mm (or size needed to obtain correct gauge) 16”/40cm circular needle.
Other Materials: Stitch marker, Tapestry needle, A special button, approximately 2.5cm / 1” in diameter. Because there is no buttonhole the size is not crucial.
Gauge: 18 sts and 27 rnds = 10cm / 4”in stocking stitch. For best results work your swatch in the round.
Sizes: xs[s, m, l] To fit a head circumference of approx: 46[51, 56, 61] cm. 18[20, 22, 24] inches.
