This is one of my favorite stitch patterns, and when I just happened to use it in this particular color it didn’t take long to realize I’d have to name it Cupid’s Arrows. Depending on your color choice, it could be just as suitable for a man, so I’ve included expanded sizing to accommodate that option.

This model was made using Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted Weight (100% wool) (100g/245yd)

Sizes: Adult S (M, L, XL) – 16 (18, 20, 22)" circumference. Choose size that is approx. 2” smaller than your head to insure a snug fit.

Gauge: 20 sts per 4” in St st on larger needles

Needles: Size 8US (5.0mm) DPNs. Optional: DPNs 2 sizes smaller for edging if you prefer a tighter ribbing.

Yarn: 100 (110, 125, 150) yards/91 (100, 114, 137) meters of a worsted weight yarn.

Notions needed: Scissors, tapestry needle, and one stitch marker.
