Wonderful to Work With

Comments about Skacel Addi Turbo 24" Circular Needles:

I have made several projects with these needles in various sizes and yarns. Pros- several common lengths and sizes available. The cord for the smaller sizes (US8/5.0mm) is thin and flexible. I have a size 9 which has a thicker cord that is made more flexible with warm water. I imagine the larger needles have this problem too, but being large needles holding heavier projects, thicker cord is needed. Nickle plating makes the needles very slippery and easy to move the yarn, once I became accustomed to the needles I fly through projects. Cons- As said with thicker cords, it's a trade off. Some may find the slipperiness of the needle a hindrance to smaller yarns and lace, tip covers will be useful when the project is stowed. The needle points are not very pointy. I simply prefer a pointy tip in all cases, though others may not mind a duller point for most projects.
