Fixed Circular Knitting Needles
Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 24"
Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles have a flexible cable and nickel plated brass tips that have a great point and are speedy to knit with. The smooth join enables stitches to glide freely from cable to needle without snagging. In addition, the needle size is etched on the connector for easy spotting. These needles are also available in 16", 32", 40" and 47" lengths.

I purchased this needle, a 16" and 32" to knit a pair of socks, two at a time, toe up. They are perfect for this kind of product, although I personally found the 16" a little too short (it kept getting in the way). However, they have nice sharp points which made things much easier. The cords are soft and flexible and the join is great. My daughter, a self-proclaimed circular needle hater, thought that she would like these. I highly recommend these curcular needles in any size! You won't regret your purchase.

The tips are fantastic. The cording, not so much. The cord broke at the connection to the needle during my 3rd or 4th project with them, much to my dismay. These were my first circular needles, and I may have put too much stress on them during an early project, for which I should have used double-points (I've since learned how). But it's still very disappointing to have these needles break after having thought that I'd invested in a solid set. I'll give them 3 stars because with proper use, they might not have broken. But some times, you want a product that can stand misuse in one project.

Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 24":
I used these needles with a sugar cane yarn which was too 'grabby' for wooden or bamboo needles and even some metal needles. They are so smooth the yarn slides easily over them.
This might not be easy to use for a slow knitter.

Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 24":
I have accumulated a large number of Addi circulars in sizes from 0 to 10 and in several lengths. Because I use three circulars rather than dps for knitting socks and other small diameter items, I bought Susan Bates 16" circulars for that purpose although yarn often "catches" on the joins between needles and cables. When I lost one of them, I ordered a Knitters Pride to replace it. I find it to have a slightly sharper point than the Addis, but otherwise I detect no difference except price. I have read other users' reviews, but thus far the cables and the needle finish are intact. I am very pleased with this product and have recommended it on Facebook.

I typically avoid circular needles, but thoroughly enjoy these. Plan to replace my old stash of circular needles with these as needed.

Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 24":
These needles are great for plant fibres like cotton and sugar cane as well as protein fibres like wool. The joins are smooth so the yarn never catches. The points are sharp enough for lace knitting.

Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 24":
I really liked the cable & needle when I began using the needles, but the first time I used them, the coating began chipping & because of the chipping, kept snagging the yarn. When I tried a nail file to even out the chipping, the coating came off in chunks.
I emailed the company to see if they could exchange, but you have to go back to where you purchased, so keep that receipt if you bought these needles. Not sure I would have purchased had I known this was a coated needle. There is no way that the coating will last!
Hopefully Webs will replace them as this where I originally purchased them.
