I wanted to get a relatively inexpensive interchangeable set to replace an older set that had very thick, inflexible cords. I decided on the Knitters Pride Dreamz, because I like wood needles with sharp tips. The cords with this set are really thin & flexible, and the needles are smooth with sharp tips. The joins are a bit rough, however - which may happen with any interchangeble set. Also, I find that the cords can come unscrewed if I don't use the little key to tighten them. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

My daughter in Western NY wanted these for Christmas. She immediately changed out her old needles on her current project.She was thrilled with the smoothness of the tips. She was amazed with the variety of sizes and they are so pretty!!

I just wish that they would make them in the 0-3 size. The cord straighten out as soon as you take then out of the package, Great set of neddles to have in the collections of neddles that I have.

You will need to order the 16" cords when you order your set of needles if you do hats. The needle portion of the interchangeable sets are a little long to do hats; also wish there were smaller sized needles with which to do socks, etc.

These needles are great! To echo what others have said, they're light, they feel nice, and the colors are helpful.

The case they come with is really cheap. I immediately ordered something nicer and more compact.

I can't give them 5 stars because I don't think there's quite enough quality control. The numbers that are printed on the needles are messy, in some places there is a second 'ghost' printing. It's a shame, because otherwise the needles look so well-made. (But I guess I should be happy numbers are printed on them at all!) Some of the cable connections are rougher than others, too.

I really loved using these needles the first couple of times. As I used some different components, I ran into problems. A couple of needles were not quite smooth and one needle would not screw onto a cord. The company was nice and told me to trade out the entire set, which WEBS very kindly did. Now I'm using the new set, and already I have a needle that won't screw onto a cable no matter what. After trying different combinations, it turned out to be the cable that's flawed, not the needle. What a pain, having to postpone starting a project to solve this problem again. In short, the needles and cable are great--usually. But KP needs to get serious with quality control.

Love that these are color coded, obviously they labeled but its just a nice touch. You do have to use a key to tighten but I think it's worth it for an affordable wood set like this. The needles themselves are smooth as are the joints. I only have 1 pair that isn't quite smooth but it doesn't catch the yarn and if I really wanted to I could try to sand the rough spot down. These are easy to use and don't hurt my hands.
