These needles were my first interchangeable set. I have used circular needles, but thought it would be nice to have a full set with various needle sizes and cable lengths. I have just learned the Magic Loop knitting method. I wanted to expand my skills, but did not have a lot of money to spend on a circular knitting needle set. These needles seemed just the thing.

The needles are light and I love the bright colors. The cable connections are smooth. I have never had any problem with the connection loosening, but did use the key each time I attached the cable.

I used them to knit a hat for my daughter-in-law and a skirt for my granddaughter.

The problem I did find: in knitting with acrylic yarn there was a LOT of drag no matter how loosely I tried to knit, to the point that I am returning these needles and ordering a pair of the Nova Deluxe interchangeables.

This would be a good set if most of your knitting is with natural fibers, but I would not recommend them for knitting with acrylic yarn.

It took about a week for me to receive the needles. When I chose to exchange them after several weeks for the Nova Deluxe Interchangeable set, the representative was helpful and courteous. I called on a Saturday, and received prompt and knowledgeable service.

these are good because they are interchangeable, but you have to be careful with them as they would break real easy if you pry to hard

I'd read a lot about interchangable circs and was anxious to try them. When the Knitters Pride arrived I was very pleased with the quality of the needles and the ease with which they could be assembled. They are easy to handle and yarn slides smoothly over the join.

These are great, I can start a new project without worrying about finding the right size needles first thing in the morning, or last thing at night. Nice to be able to try different sizes for swatches without having to hunt for yet another pair of needles.
But don't take them out in the winter! The bag is plastic and goes brittle in the cold - and it gets really cold here in Edmonton. It must be completely warmed-up before you try to unzip it or the plastic cracks. This was a reasonably priced set, so I'm not worried about that minor detail. I think a combined offer of needles with a discount for buying a new interchangeable needle case at the same time (or within a couple months), would be a good deal for those of us who schlepp things back and forth to work in a backpack. And even the ones that don't go with me to work, sometimes end up being moved from room to room and plastic bags just don't last.

My mom had bought the clear ones and had some trouble because she could see the yarn through them.
So I went for the colored tips and have no trouble at all!

The points are very good, joins seem good and the cables are interchangable with my KnitPicks. I like the clear kneedle and the different colors for different sizes.

After buying the sample needle set that had one set each of the wooden, plastic and metal tips, I decided that the plastic set was good enough for the price. I've used them for two projects so far, one with wool and one with a corn yarn. I like them because the tips are quite sharp and the surface is fairly slippery, but not so much that stitches slide off. I don't knit tightly, and the metal tips tended to slide out.
I like that they are light.
No problem with tips coming detached. I test every now and then to make sure they are on tightly. However, I tested all the tips when they arrived, and the threading on some of the tips is rough. I had to try to get them on the cables a few times, gently, because I didn't want to strip the threads.

When I first bought this set, I fell in love. The variety of cord lengths, the stoppers, the colours... Everything was perfect. Until I broke my first needle - EVER! I was in shock.

I was very grateful to learn that WEBS will replace these needles, with no questions asked. And they did. I was very happy, until the next needle broke. It appears that the plastic make up of smaller sizes are too fragile. In both instances, the needle snaps at the base, near where the metal is imbedded into the plastic. I suspect the structure is weakened when the hole is created to hold the metal base.

NOTE: Don't bother attempting to Super glue the needle. I tried and it doesn't hold under the weight of the yarn/pressure of use.

This collection is good to have in your collection. A helpful set for a newcommer like me. However it lacks the smoothness while knitting, if compare to using the metal-make needle like Nova.
