Knitter's Pride Cubics Single Pointed Needles 10"
Knitter's Pride Cubics 10” Single Pointed Needles have a cuboid shape in the body of the needle that gradually gives way to perfectly tapered birch wood needle points. The ergonomic shape is comfortable to hold, lessens the need to grip tightly, and yields uniform stitch formation. The special shape also means that these needles stay put when not in use – no roll-aways! The densified, laminated wood is rich in appearance, yet it is also lightweight, strong, flexible, and warm to the touch. Needle size is measured diagonally and these needles fits into standard needle sizers just like round needles.

The cubic is great for tight knitters!
The shape allows a space to insert needle for the next stitch. This creates the most uniform knitting I have ever done, I've knitted for over 45 years! Great idea!
I have lost other needles to the 'sofa monster' when they have rolled between the cushions, but the cubic shape prevents this!
The woods feel is easy on my aging hands and the finish is smooth to the touch and a beautiful deep woodgrain color blend. A true pleasure to work with during those LONG hours of knitting a precious gift for a friend or family member!
I've always wanted to replace my odd collection of needles with one complete set. The search for the perfect needle for this 'honor' has finally been found! After much review of the sizes and types of the cubics available, my local knit shop owner worked with me to create my own custom set of needles. I will continue to add to this customized set in the near future!
I would like to see longer singles available. I will save room for them in my collection! There's no need to look back...hmmm...now what to do with all those old needles? :)

Great product with many pros. I broke one needle on the first use. Managed to glue it back together and sand it down, but it's broken in the same weakened spot repeatedly. I've had to abandon them. Perhaps for the 'gentler' knitter these would be more effective.

I bought these to try out. They worked well on the small project I was working on. Now I want to try them for an afghan worked in strips.

I bought these needles by mistake. I was not aware they were cubics. I let them sit for a while because I knew they would not be easy to use. I finally worked on a project that these needles were the only ones I had in the size I needed so I used them. They were great. These needles don't slip in your hands, they are easy to hold on to. The knitted item comes out smooth and no different than using round needles. I like the feel and the fit in my hand. I don't have to hold on so tight because they don't slip when I am knitting. Thanks!
