Thought these needles would just be another gadget. Oh, was I wrong. Wish I would have tried these sooner. Am ordering some other sizes. Only wish they were a little cheaper. I need quite a few sets cause always have three or four pairs of socks going at once. The stitches stay on and they're light weight while the stitches slide easily and don't catch like on bamboo.

I was hesitant to try these metal needles because of problems with my hands. I had been using all wood and bamboo needles. I needn't have worried. These are my new favorite sock needles. They feel great in my hands, don't roll off tables and hold my stitches even when I get down to those last dastardly few in the toes (or first dastardly few, depending on which direction I'm going!). Try them - you'll like them!

Merchant response: Jil Eaton's note on how to work the loop stitch correctly: After knitting in the front of the stitch, then looping the yarn down around your thumb clockwise you knit in the back of the stitch. You then knit the two stitches together, making a pretty loop that is very secure.
