Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 16"
Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles have a flexible cable and nickel plated brass tips that have a great point and are speedy to knit with. The smooth join enables stitches to glide freely from cable to needle without snagging. In addition, the needle size is etched on the connector for easy spotting. These needles are also available in 24", 32", 40" and 47" lengths.

The cable isn't as flexible as I'd like but it didn't keep kinking up and twisting the work. It is amazingly light weight, almost weightless, but very sturdy. I had no hand fatigue after knitting almost 12 hours straight for a rush order. The points were much sharper than I expected but I love that because it is great for lace and tight stitches. The needles and joins are very smooth so the work goes fast. They warm up quickly in your hands and stay warm better than other metal needles. I usually prefer bamboo, but I could see getting a complete set of these needles. It would be nice to know the material these are made of as well as the other knitter's pride needles. I bought them because they are inexpensive and I needed something quick. I found them to be a very good value, high quality for a good price. I made a lovely Diagonal Lace Rib Cowl (26"x13") out of Classic Elite Lush angora wool yarn on these in about 8 hours. The work just glides right off the needles. I don't think I've ever used faster needles.

Broke on first use
These needles broke on my fist use. The cord came apart from one of the needles. Other than that, they knit nicely.

I am a member of the charity Knots of Love. We make caps for chemo patients and others facing life-threatening illnesses. Our caps are donated to 240 cancer centers across the country. Recently a fellow member told me about these needles. (We need more volunteers. If you'd like to help check out the website). I went on-line and found WEBS had the best price for Nova needles. I ordered 16" circulars in several sizes for my cap making. The needles were shipped to me promptly. I've now replaced my bamboo needles. My knitting is so much faster using the Nova needles.

After purchasing these needles, I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again. They are very light. The cable doesn't twist. And, because they are so smooth, keeping an even guage is easy and tinking is a dream. If you like to knit with a looser guage, I wouldn't recommend these - definitely stick to bamboo.
