This is definitely my favorite gift this Christmas, but I have to admit that I asked for it. I had begun purchasing KP's Nova circular needles for use in magic loop knitting because I really like the flexibility of the cord and the taper of the needles. When I saw this set, I knew it's what I wanted. Although I haven't had a chance to use the needles yet, I checked the join on all my needles since the one reviewer had a bad time with hers. All the needles screwed on fairly smoothly -- a couple not quite as smooth as the rest, but they screwed on fine with a little coaxing. Also, the fit of the cord keys was a little tight in a few of the needles, but, again, worked with a little coaxing. The joins were smooth, and I like the length of the needle tips. I really like having the different length of cords available, especially since magic loop works best with the longer length, but I'll also use the shorter cords because I like to knit other projects that don't use magic loop. And purchasing the set is more economical than buying needles with different cord lengths for each project. I had also requested, and received, a couple of sets of cord connectors, which I think will be very useful.

I love these needles. The 4" size feels great in my hands and I use them for everything. I bought them for circular knitting but they felt so comfortable for me that I use them for both flat and circular. The cord connection is flawless and smooth,and I have never had a problem with catching the yarn or tightening them down.

I love that the size of the needle tip is inscribed on the metal, so I don't have to get a sizer to check. The tip is wonderful, just the way I like, nicely tapered.

The needle tips came pitted and scratched. They don't screw down all the way, which leaves a messy join. I should have stuck with the Addi because this was a mistake. I can't use them.

I love Knitter's Pride Nova needles. When I bought the interchangeable special set, I decided to tack on the #2.5 as well. The tips are the same slick, sharp Nova I know and love; however, when I try to slide the key through to fasten the tips, the it does not go all the way through.
That said, this does not effect my ability to attach the tips to my cables, but I have to be careful that the key does not slip out mid-twist.
