Comments about Knitter's Pride Trendz Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I'm so pleased to have found such an affordable set. These are my backup/travel set. In the two weeks I've had them, they've already come in so handy as spares. It's such a compact little carrying case that I can just toss it in my bag when I'm starting a new project and want to try out different needles sizes to get gauge. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I'm wondering how well they'll hold up. Seems like the acrylic part of the needle spins on the metal part that connects to metal end on the cord so I'm careful not to over tighten. I don't know yet if this is a weakness but it is perceived as such. That's my only caution

Comments about Knitter's Pride Trendz Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I got these as a travel set so I wouldn't have to worry about loosing or leaving my Dreams set. I have never used acrylic needles before, eh, there ok. These would be great quality and price for a beginner. My only complaint is that 4 of the sizes are not aligned smooth where the needle joins to the threaded attachment. I tend to knit tight so this is not good at all. I have been contemplating if I can stand it or to return the set, as of now trying to decide if it's worth the trouble.

- Inexpensive

Comments about Knitter's Pride Trendz Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I love these needles! I had put them on my Christmas wishlist because they were affordable and I really wanted an interchangeable set. I was worried, before I received them, that the quality wouldn't be so great, but I was so wrong! Yarn doesn't snag on the joins and moves freely on the needles. Love them and definitely recommend!

- Very smooth Great Price

Comments about Knitter's Pride Trendz Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I bought this set because it is in a nice small case with all sizes (yes not US5, but I knew that when I bought it because I read the description). I wasn't sure because I have another set of plastic type needles and the yarn seems to stick, not these. They are smooth, they have the sizes right on the needle tips, everything fits in nice size case that goes right into my knitting bag. The size 5, just purchase one of the other tips to put in here and have size 5. For some reason Addi does that with their interchangable needles no size 5. I highly recommend this set.
Pros
- Friction
- Pointed
- Smooth

Comments about Knitter's Pride Trendz Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I purchased the acrylic needles to try this brand. I'm very glad I did. The following are observations based on the knitting of about 1/2 of Cheryl Oberle's Box Top jacket, all of Cheryl Oberle's Rachael jacket, a hat in doubled Kauni yarn, and the finishing touches to a folk vest pattern by Nancy Bush.
* I like needles with some friction; these have a fair amount. That might be a drawback for a few projects, but not a drawback for most of mine. I've knit with heavy wool, laceweight mohair and laceweight merino/silk. Great for both.
* Joins are great. I counted, and it takes at least 12 revolutions to attach a needle to a cable, which means that even if one became loose, one is not going to be finding that suddenly there is no needle.
* Cables are flexible. They are among the most flexible I've used.
* Points are very pointed. I have become addicted to sharp points, and love these. Have used it on Rowan's Pure Life British sheep's yarn, a worsted merino, and lace-weight yarns held together. Love it for all purposes.
Cons:
* I don't know if it's possible to make acrylic needles in the smaller sizes, but if it is, I'd love to fill in from US 0-3
* The set is in mm sizes (US sizes are stamped on the needles, also), so there are no US 5s. I would like a US 5.
* Unlike their wood needles, the acrylic are only available in the set.
Pros
- Affordable
- Smooth joins
Cons
- No size US 5
