I have been using the Knitter's Pride interchangeable and single point wooden needles and thought I would try these since I didn't have single pointed metal needles. They have a nice point for doing lace and have a nice smooth surface. This is strictly cosmetic, but I was a little turned off by the scratched surface appearance. I know they had not been used and this did not affect the performance. I guess just comparing them to my Addi's they were not perfect. Overall, I have enjoyed using them on a lace project using a mohair/silk yarn. For the price, they are a very good value.
