As a new lace knitter I needed those sharp points for the nupps. The Addi Lace needles were just the ticket to get them done. I suspect it's the pointy ends.
I have never used lace needles before so have no idea how to compare these with any others, but I like these very much and will be getting them in several sizes as my lace knitting expands.
