This pattern stitch was inspired by Robert Frost's "Birches". Look carefully and you will see all of the beautiful birch leaves traveling along the length of the sock. These socks are knit from the toe up and three sizes are provided in the pattern.

Yarn: fingering weight sock yarn. Model knit in Pigeonroof Studios Superwash Merino.
Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm), or size required for gauge
Crochet hook: US 13 (.85 mm), or size to fit through bead
Gauge: 8 sts to 1 inch (2.5 cm) in stockinette in the round
Finished size: small [medium, large]
