This design was inspired by M. C. Escher and his mind-bending drawings. In order to appreciate all of the beauty of this shawl you must open your eyes to the yarnover spaces, as well as the solid knitted areas, which requires a little bend in your mind. This shawl is started at the top center and worked down and outward to the bind off edge.
