Knitting Matters 601 A-maze-ing Stripes Rug
Knitting Matters patterns are no longer available for sale.
This slip-stitch rug was partly inspired by motifs in Barbara Walker's book Mosaic Knitting. The rug is done entirely in garter stitch, which gives it a nice cushiony feel under your feet (yes, you really can walk on it!). The geometric motif is compatible with many decorating styles and the colors can be easily substituted.
Size: 34" long x 24" wide
Gauge: 18 sts and 36 rows per 4" in pattern stitch
Yarn: 370 yards each of MC, CC1, CC2, and CC3 in any worsted weight yarn you like
Needles: 24" or 29" US 9 circular needle
Notions: Scissors & tapestry needle
