I bought this yarn to make a collection of baby hats and booties to sell, and it fit the bill perfectly. It is very soft and just the right weight for baby projects. The only problem I have is that the yarn does split rather easily, although I expected that with a 100% cotton yarn. It's okay for crocheting, but knitters may have more of a problem with this. I love that it is both organic and naturally dyed!
