Good medium weight for both adults or children and the colour choice is stunning. Garments are quickly finished and the wool feels good to the touch.

Comments about Berroco Peruvia Discontinued Colors:
This is the second sweater I have made using this yarn. Both sweaters were cable patterns and held their shape well when blocked. The yarn is soft and makes a comfortable sweater.

knitted central park hoodie with this yarn. purchased the "orange" #7110 color. The yarn color is actually a pumpkin spice rather than orange on the website. perfect color for the Fall.

Comments about Berroco Peruvia Discontinued Colors:
I made a long vest with Peruvia about 2-3 years ago. I wear it a lot as an outerwear during Fall. My vest kept its shape wonderfully, with very little pilling. The colorwork did not run at all during wet-blocking. Yarn is very warm and cosy. It does not drape, so I would not use it for scarves. It is not 'next-to-skin' soft, but not coarse or scratchy either - just this nice 'wooly' feeling. Highly recommend!

Comments about Berroco Peruvia Discontinued Colors:
I just received my order of Peruvia in the color Verde. I haven't even knitted a swatch yet, but just FYI - the Verde is much GREENER than the sample appears on my computer. Looks more blue than green on the site. But it's a lovely heathery mix of hues, and surprisingly soft. Can't wait to knit it up!

Comments about Berroco Peruvia Discontinued Colors:
This yarn has very little twist, a lot like a lopi yarn. I love everything about it, but I wouldn't recommend seaming with it, as it has a tendency to break.
Comments about Berroco Peruvia Discontinued Colors:
I made the ribbed vest in the Northampton knits book with this yarn. I really enjoyed working with it. It has a lovely sheen and is very soft. I would recommend this yarn.
