Berroco Elements is a gorgeous wool and nylon blend with a unique construction. Downy wool is caught up in a lustrous nylon net, forming a worsted weight yarn with a combination of sheen and soft color. Very Shiny, doesn't frog smoothly

By Whofilets

from Las Vegas, NV

Pros

  • drapes
  • Saturated color
  • Shiny
  • Soft

Cons

  • Fuzzes When Frogged
  • Low Elasticity

Best Uses

  • Draping Garments
  • Loose Fitting Garments

This yarn is very pretty and shiny in person. It's a shiny white tube that encases the colored, mostly loose single within. This makes it fairly smooth with almost no halo, and very lightweight. This gives it great depth of color, but when I needed to frog my project partly, some of the fibers had worked loose and wrapped around others, and had to be ripped apart. I find this happens a lot with yarns that have a halo.
