Araucania's Nuble fingering weight yarn has a smooth hand and gloriously bright colors enhanced by the sheen of 25% silk. So soft and delicate, Nuble would look and feel amazing knit or crocheted into lacy patterns that enhance its bold color variegation. Made in Italy, hand dyed in Chile.
I am making the Trillian shawl and this yarn is knitting up so nicely, even the lace edge has a lovely shape without blocking! I have had no problems with the yarn splitting and the hank I wound had no breaks/tears. I love the colors yellow and grey together so thought this yarn (yellow, grey and smoke) would be great based on picture on line, but the colorways are short and the mix of the colors makes the grey look more like green.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I wasn't sure about the yarn, never having used it but what a wonderful surprise. I'm a wool fan and love the depth of colors silk offers with its sheen, this blend is fantastic. Too much silk in silk/wool blend yarns get slippery on the wood needles (my particular favorite to knit with). This is an ideal blend. I love the colorway I purchased (7 sienna, deep pink, purple). L.o.v.e.
I can't offer any cons because for me, there just aren't any. I have another project I would love to do in this yarn. I may try another colorway.
