Love these needles!
Wow! I don't understand the negative reviews of these needles. I almost didn't buy them based on these reviews but I'm glad I did, since they have been easy and light weight to use. Joins have been smooth and the cords never twist. The wood is smooth without being too slippery.
Perhaps the worst purchase I've ever made

I was excited about these when I ordered them (size 7 and 9) but when I went to use them was shocked at the poor quality for the price - or ANY price (makes it the worst purchase I've ever made -- I have huge regrets). The yarn (merino wool in my case) doesn't slide onto the needle easily and I spend much of my time managing the yarn on the needle. Frustrating. The tips are too sharp and so split the yarn when I tink so ripping out was necessary (ridiculous.) I was seduced into thinking these would be superior needles based on the price and the reputation of WEBS. I feel so silly for thinking this -- I know better. I spent over $50 on these, including shipping and I'll never use them. Terrible needles. An exercise in frustration (and I use only wooden needles and am not a beginner knitter.)

pretty sticky, pretty blunt
I like to try out different brands in 16" circular, since I am locked into a system with my interchangeables in other sizes. Nearly all my needles are Knitter's Pride and Knit Picks, and I have a few Brittany birch straights. These needles are nearly an exact match to the Brittanys, in terms of how slick they are (not very) and how pointy they are (not very). The KP needles are slicker and pointier. The cord is pretty thick but it's fine for this short length. These would make very nice needles for a beginner knitter getting started on circulars.

I love these needles! The wood has the perfect feel to give me that knitting zen. The cables never kink or crimp. Best needles all around.
