Bought this for chemo caps because it was supposed to be soft. It was stiff. By the third row, I abandoned the project because the yarn was splitting so badly. Not sure what I'll use it for now.

This is a not a worsted weight; it's a dk. It splits and shreds while knitting it. I was going to knit a garment, but the ply kept untwisting, leaving little strings hanging off of it. I can't think of anything to make out of this yarn, as it's too delicate.

Merchant response: The weight of the yarn is determined by the manufacturer, who feels it is best knit up at a worsted weight. Adjusting needle gauge, you can certainly knit this at a Dk gauge as well.
