Knitting the Knitter's Almanac

This class is currently full. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please call Customer Service at 800-367-9327.

Many consider Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitter's Almanac to be the definitive knitting text for her trademark humor and common-sense, irresistible patterns. Now you can expand your knitting skills and learn the techniques EZ used to help guide you through these timeless projects the year 'round. You'll make a sweater in the round from measurements, swatch in the round, learn simple lace, weaving (grafting), knitting hems, and use Emily Ocker's cast-on for knitting in the round from the center outward. In the Winter/Spring semester, the projects will include the February Baby Sweater, the Hurry-up Last Minute Sweater, and the Mystery Blanket. Keep your eye on next semester as we’ll be offering additional EZ projects all year long.
