Ella Rae Amity has just the right feel and texture for a cozy blanket, and the washability is a huge plus. I have made several in different colors already. My only negative comment is perhaps a little picky, but both ends of the skein are very tangled up. I dislike having to take time picking out knots and large snarls instead of being able to work on my projects.

I'm kind of on the fence about this yarn. The colors are nice, it knits up well for your average hat or fingerless gloves. It's not very soft, and it's a little fuzzy (but not soft fuzzy). It is what it is for the price. It's decent, but overall it's just...meh.

I've made baby blankets, cardigan & leggings and like this even better than Encore, because it has more body and holds its shape better. Encore may feel softer in the skein, but beware, that first-day ooooh will leave you really mad when your project stretches----this yarn doesn't do that at all. The color selection is very good and the price is unbelievable! Stock up!

I gave this yarn high marks for versatility, washability, and range of colors. I've made two sweaters with it. One a simple stockinette V-neck and the other in a textured stitch. Both wash/dry great and are maintaining thier shape. It might fuzz a bit with wear, but it's a great value for a wool blend worsted wt yarn.

I used this yarn for a baby blanket. The colors are wonderfully rich and bright. The yarn had a nice stretch too it but pilled quite too much for my taste.
